This means that our products meet and exceed the ICREA-STD-131 standard, published by ICREA and can be used in any ICREA certified facility without altering its certification, or can be integrated as part of the project to be further certified by ICREA.

Currently, our products are the only and the first in the market to carry this seal, placing Jaguar de Mexico at the forefront as a manufacturer of products for Latin America of the highest quality for Datacenters and Data Containers installations.

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) is a standards organization in Washington, USA, which publishes a number of technical standards, it does not itself test or certify products.

The following NEMA classification basically refers to the protection of persons against unintentional contact with objects in the equipment as well as protection against external influences on an enclosure.

NEMA 1 / IP 23: 

Indoor installation, protects against falling dirt.

NEMA 2 / IP 30: 

Indoor installation, protects against falling dirt and dripping water.

NEMA 3 / IP 64: 

Outdoor installation, protects against rain, sleet and windblown dust; also protects against damage caused by external ice formation on the enclosure.

​

NEMA 3R / IP 64: 

Outdoor installation, protects against rain, sleet: also protects against damage caused by the formation of external ice on the cabinet.

NEMA 3S / IP 64: 

Indoor or outdoor installation, it protects against rain, sleet and windblown dust; in addition, the external mechanisms remain operational despite the formation of ice.

NEMA 4 / IP 66: 
Indoor or outdoor installation, it protects against wind and rainborne dust, splashing water and sprayed water; it also protects against damage caused by the formation of external ice on the enclosure.

NEMA 4X / IP 66: 

Indoor or outdoor installation, it protects against wind and rainborne dust, splashing water, spray water and corrosion; it also protects against damage caused by external ice formation on the enclosure.

NEMA 5: 

Indoor or outdoor installation, it protects against wind and rainborne dust, splashing water, spray water and corrosion; it also protects against damage caused by external ice formation on the enclosure.

NEMA 6 / IP 67: 

Indoor or outdoor protection against falling dirt, water jets and water ingress due to partial immersion, limited to a certain depth, as well as protection against damage caused by ice formation.

NEMA 6P / IP 67: 

Indoor or outdoor protection against water spray and water ingress due to prolonged immersion at a certain depth, as well as protection against damage caused by ice formation.

​

NEMA 12 / IP 55: 

Interior protection against falling dirt, accumulation of dust from the ambient air, as well as against dripping of non-corrosive liquids.

​

NEMA 13 / IP 65: 

Inner protection against dust, falling dirt, water and oil splashes as well as non-corrosive cooling media.
